Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes!
All plans will be accepted in payments or paid in full. In fact, the plans have been broken down so that if you chose the payment plan, no payment reaches the $200 mark.

For the price of a coffee and danish a day, you could have a professional, functional, and personally tailored website! All in less time than it would take to work off those danishes.

I've heard WordPress is hard. I want to build my own website but I'm afraid I'll be overwhelmed. Is this something I can do?

Building a WordPress website is something anyone can do - including you!

My easy to follow guides and videos take you step-by-step through each building block of WordPress. They can be referenced and reviewed to fully understand each topic, and may be reused for every website you build.

Many feel WordPress is hard because it's so huge. There's an incredible amount you can do with the platform, the possibilities are almost endless. It's an exciting venture every solopreneur, business owner, author, and artist should consider.

Is there a penalty for taking advantage of the payment plan?

No.

I like the idea of building my own website, but don't have the time. If I hire you to build it can I still get the DIY materials for another time?

Absolutely.

Materials for any plan are only an additional $100.

Is there a pay in full discount?

There is!

5% is the full pay discount if PIF when initially purchased.

I bought the DIY Learner but am over committed. I need to get the website done. Do I have to pay another $797 to hire you to build the site even though I already made progress?

Life happens!

If you find you simply can't finish the website for whatever reason, let me know and I'll pick up where you left off. You'll only need to pay the difference between the DIY purchase price, and the DFY purchase price for the same plan.

For example, if you purchased the DIY Trainer for $547 but need me to complete the site, you only have to pay $250.
That is the total dollar difference between the DIY price and the DFY price for the same plan.

Can I do the payment plan and still get a pay off discount if I pay the balance before it's due?

Yes!

3% is the discount for the remaining balance of a payment plan when it's paid off a month or more early.

How do I know which product or service is right for me?

If you're addicted to the show 'How Things are Made,' love learning new things, and consider your computer an extension of yourself...a DIY plan may be just right.

If you prefer physical books over e-readers, don't know how to turn on the computer (I'm impressed your reading this), and would rather explain how the end product should look rather than doing it yourself - I'd go with the DFY plan.

All kidding aside...

It boils down to:

  • do you have time to dedicate to building your website?
    • Yes = DIY
    • NO = DFY
  • how quickly do you need it?
    • Whenever = DIY
    • Fast = DFY
  • how comfortable are you learning something new?
    • Very = DIY
    • Not at all = DFY

Some basic questions like those should help draw the answer out. And let's face it: sometimes it just comes down to budget.

But no matter what, if you get into a pickle, I can make you a cucumber again.
